SAYRAFÎ VE MANZUM KASÎDE-İ BÜRDE TERCÜMESİ

Sayrafi and His Poetic Translation of Qasidah Al-Burdah

Abstract

Öz: Klasik Türk edebiyatında Hz. Peygamber’e duyulan sevgi neticesinde onun sahip olduğu güzel hasletleri, fiziki özellikleri, nübüvveti, söz ve fiilleri gibi özelliklerini ele alan gazel, kaside, mesnevi gibi nazım şekilleriyle tanzim edilen çeşitli manzumeler kaleme alınmıştır. Bu manzumeler zamanla na’t, miraciyye, hilye, mu’cizât ve kırk hadis gibi farklı edebî türlere tahvil olmuştur. Bu türlerin tekâmülü ve zenginleşmesinde Arap edebiyatından tercüme yoluyla Türk edebiyatına kazandırılmış bazı eserlerin önemli payı vardır. Mısırlı sûfî şair İmam Bûsîrî’nin Hz. Peygamber aşkı ve onun şefaatine erme maksadıyla Arapça kaleme almış olduğu ve “Kasîde-i Bürde” olarak meşhur olan kaside de bunlardan biridir. Bu kaside, diğer Müslüman toplumlarca olduğu gibi Türkler tarafından da çok beğenilmiş ve birçok şerhi yapıldığı gibi çeşitli şairler tarafından nazmen Türkçeye tercüme edilmiştir. Bu kasideyi tercüme eden şairlerden biri de hayatı hakkında elde herhangi bir kaydın bulunmadığı Sayrafî mahlaslı şairdir. Elde şimdilik tek nüshası bulunan ve tercüme / istinsah tarihi de belli olmayan Sayrafî’nin bu manzum tercümesi, 163 beyitten müteşekkildir. Bu çalışmada Sayrafî’nin manzum Kasîde-i Bürde tercümesinin sahip olduğu şekil ve muhteva özellikleri üzerinde birtakım değerlendirmelerde bulunulduktan sonra çeviri yazılı metnine yer verilmiştir.

Abstract: In classical Turkish literature, as a result of the love for the Prophet, various poems were written, which were arranged in verse forms such as ghazal, eulogy, masnavi, which deal with his beautiful characteristics, physical characteristics, prophethood, words and deeds. Over time, these poems have been transformed into different literary genres such as na’t, miraciyye, hilye, mu’cizât and forty hadith. Some works that have been brought to Turkish literature through translation from Arabic literature have an important role in the evolution and enrichment of these genres. The eulogy of the Egyptian sufi poet Imam Busiri’s, which was written in Arabic with the aim of reaching the Prophet’s intercession and for the love of the Prophet, is one of them. This eulogy was appreciated by the Turks as well as in other Muslim societies, and it was translated into Turkish by various poets as well as many annotations. One of the poets who translated this eulogy is a poet with the pseudonym Sayrafî, for whom there is no record of his life. This verse translation of Sayrafi, whose translation / copying date is unknown, consists of 163 couplets. In this study, after some evaluations were made on the form and content features of Sayrafî’s verse translation of Qasidah Al-Burdah, the translated text was included.
