Rose and Thorn: A Review Upon Ahi-Mevlevi Relations in the 13th and 17th Centuries

Abstract

Öz: Anadolu’nun irfan çağı olarak tarihe geçen XIII. yüzyılda teşekkül etmiş ve uzun bir müddet oldukça geniş bir alanda soysal ve kültürel hayatı şekillendirmiş iki ayrı kurum olan Ahilik ve Mevleviliğin, zaman içinde tarihçiler tarafından iki farklı düşünce yapısını temsil ettiği için sert bir çatışma içinde oldukları iddia edilmiştir. Bu çalışmada kuruluş dönemlerinden itibaren Ahilerin ve Mevlevilerin iddia edildiği gibi bir çatışma ortamı içinde olup olmadıkları sorusuna gerek Mevlevi gerekse Ahi kaynakları ve de tespit edilebilen arşiv kayıtları üzerinden cevap aranacaktır.

Abstract: Historians generally claim that there was a conflict between the Ahi's and Mawlawi, that were one of the leading inatitutions of the 13th century Anatolia groups of Anatolia asa result of the difference of their representation of the distinct ideas and world views. İn this study, it Will be tried to be answered whether this wide claim among the HiStorians is True or not under the Light of the orijinal resources of these groups, and the archive documents.
