Abstract

Özet: XIX. yüzyılda Osmanlı Devleti’nin her alanda yapmış olduğu modernleşme hareketleri içerisinde yer alan eğitim faaliyetleri son derece önemli bir yer tutar. Bu dönemde eğitim; medreseden mektebe geçiştir. Yapısal anlamda da bu anlayış hâkimdir. Isparta İdadisi, Osmanlı Devleti’nin eğitim alanındaki modernleşme anlayışının mimari yansımasının bir ürünüdür. Makalemiz, Isparta İdadisinin ilk inşasından günümüze kadar geçirmiş olduğu mimari evrelerini belgelere dayalı olarak sunulmasıdır. Ayrıca, yapının dönem içerisindeki toplumsal etkilerine yer vermeye çalışılacaktır.

Abstract: Educational activities have an important place through Modernizatıon Movements in every field carried out by the Otoman State in the 19th century. In this period, education is transferred from medrese to mektep. This understanding also prevails in respect of structure. Idadi of Isparta is the output of the architectural reflection of modernization perception in the Otoman education. This presentation gives the architectural stages the Idadi has experienced from the first building to the present day by using documents. In during the period, the building’s social effects are given place.
