İNTİZÂMÎ’NİN TUHFETÜ’L-İHVÂN’I IŞIĞINDA SOKULLU MEHMED PAŞAZÂDE KÂSIM PAŞA’YA DAİR YENİ BİLGİLER

New Information About Sokullu Mehmed Pashazade Kasim Pasha in the Light of Intizâmî's work Tuhfetü’l-Ihvan

Abstract

Öz: Şairlerin hayatlarının bir bölümü veya tamamının anlatıldığı sergüzeştnâme türündeki eserler tarihî bazı hadiselerin açıklığa kavuşmasına da vesile olur. Hatırat özelliği taşıyan ve yaşanmış olayları ele alan sergüzeştnâmelerde şairin yaşadığı dönemin toplumsal koşullarını yansıtan düşünceleri, yolculukları, geçirdiği hastalıklar, çektiği sıkıntılar, çalıştığı yer ve kurumlar, dolaştığı memleketler, yaşadığı aşk maceraları, zamandan şikâyetleri vb. dile getirilir. Bu çalışmada; Bosnalı İntizâmî’nin sergüzeştnâme türündeki Tuhfetü’l-İhvân adlı eserinde Sokullu Mehmed Paşa’nın oğlu Kâsım Paşa’nın faaliyetleri ve ölümüne dair söyledikleri ve Paşa için yazdığı mersiye ele alınmıştır. İntizâmî’nin özellikle mersiyeden önce Kâsım Paşa ile ilgili söyledikleri, hakkında Evliya Çelebi’nin anlattığı hikâyenin dışında pek fazla bir bilgi bulunmayan Paşa’nın biyografisine dair bazı noktaları açıklığa kavuşturmaktadır. Çalışmanın bir diğer amacı ise bugüne kadar Evliya Çelebi’nin Kâsım Paşa hakkında verdiği, genel kabul görmüş bilgilerin sorgulanmasıdır.

Abstract: The works of sergüzeştnâme, in which some or all of the poets lives are described, also contribute to the clarification of some historical events. In the works of Sergüşestname, the adventures of the poet and dealing with the events that have taken place, the thoughts reflecting the social conditions of the poet's period, his journeys, his illnesses, his troubles, his places and institutions he worked, his hometown, his love adventures, his complaints from time, etc. are expressed. In the study; In the work titled Tuhfetü'l-İhvân in the genre of Sergüzest of Bosnian Intizâmî, the story of Sokullu Mehmed Pasha's son Kâsım Pasha, about his activities and his death, and his writing for Pasha were discussed. What İntizâmî said about Kâsım Pasha, especially before Mersiye, clarifies some points about the biography of Pasha, who does not have much information about the story told by Evliya Celebi. Another aim of the study is to question the generally accepted information given by Evliya Çelebi about Kâsım Pasha.
